With an economy driven largely by outdoor recreation and agriculture, the lives and livelihoods of the residents of the San Juan Mountains are inseparable from the natural environment. Passage of the COREAct would bring the management of public lands into alignment with those uses, protecting the economy and way of life for future generations.
