San Juan Mountains, Colorado

Summit scraping the clouds, the iconic Mt. Sneffels dominates the landscape in every direction. The Mt. Sneffels Wilderness, however, doesn’t currently encompass or protect the northern aspects of the mountain, seen here. This would be remedied through an addition to the existing wilderness under the Colorado Outdoor Recreation and Economy (CORE) Act.
